Termite Inspection
Subterranean termites, powder post beetles, carpenter ants, and carpenter bees are a few of the insects your HomeSafe inspector will be looking for during the termite / Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection of your home. While termites are the most common WDI, all of these insects can cause significant damage to a home. Your HomeSafe inspector looks for signs of current and past damage, active insect activity, mud tubes, boring holes, and evidence of past exterminators treatments as part of your termite/WDI inspection. Your termite/WDI inspection will include a visual inspection of readily accessible areas for evidence of termites and other wood-destroying insects and recommendations for best practices to keep your home free from future termite damage.
